Payment of Dues:
Active and Associate Members shall pay dues to the Association in the amount of $5.00 per month ($60.00 annually). An
initiation fee of five dollars ($5.00) shall be levied upon all members at the time they become members. Please check
payment option and enter payment total that equals $5.00 times number of months to January 1st of next year and add
$5.00 for initiation fee. (ex: $5 x 10 months = $50 + $5 initiation = $55)

After submitting this application, you will be given the opportunity to pay for your membership dues and
registration initiation fee online through a secure paypal account by credit or debit card.
                         SECTION 5 - DUES, FEES, AND ASSESSMENTS

Active and Associate Members shall pay dues to the Association in the amount of $5.00 per month ($60.00 annually)
anytime after January 1, 2010 and before December 31, 2010 to be considered current.  Assessments, in addition to dues,
may be levied by the Board of Directors should the condition of the treasury require such action.  An initiation fee of five
dollars ($5.00) shall be levied upon all members at the time they become members.

Any member whose dues become three months delinquent shall, upon notification of the membership by the Secretary,
have his or her name removed from the roster of voting members.

Any member whose dues become six months delinquent shall, upon notification of the membership by the Secretary, have
his or her membership in the Association terminated.  Any member whose voting rights or membership has been terminated
per this Section may not be reinstated until all dues and fees have been paid.

Thank you for submitting your application to join the Mansfield Police Officers Association.
Applications for membership shall be subject to approval by a majority vote of the members
present at a regular meeting. Applicants, if applicable, must have completed their field
training to be eligible to apply for membership. You will be contacted after the regular
meeting on the status of your membership.
police officers employed only by the City of Mansfield, Texas and their Associates.  The Association is
organized for the purpose of perpetuating the memory and spirit of police officers who have given their lives
in the pursuit of duty.  In addition, the Association has adopted the following objectives:

    A.    To promote social fellowship and economic well-being of the members; and
    B.    To instill in the members the spirit of cooperation and of the high regard of our calling; and
    C.    To assert a wholesome influence on the education of the citizens of our city, especially with the
    purpose of inculcating respect for law and order; and
    D.   To cooperate with courts, judges and branches of government, both state and national; and
    E.    To incorporate among the members a closer personal acquaintance; and
    F.    To receive, gather, and disseminate such information as might be helpful to the members in the
    performance of duties; and
    G.   To promote complete cooperation and unified action with the various police organizations of the
    state; and
    H.   To defray such legal and other expenses as may be incurred in perpetuating the interests of the
    Association.
